Bold colors are for big spaces; or so you have been told. But a bold color really just needs subtle complementing or contrasting dcor to work. Bold singular sofas with darker, larger sofas balance the color in the space beautifully. Balancing out the boldness of a bright sofa with a neutral colored sofa of the same size is a great way to embrace the splash of color. Let the colored sofa stand out, but not hurt the eye. It takes a lot of gall to go for a bold color, particularly red, orange, and the like. So, consider your room size and your personal preference before you choose one.
The other sofa option that is real popular in the sectional is the sleeper sofa. This is great for when guests stay over and you do not have a guest room. Just pull out the bed and you are good to go. The sleeper sofa is also fun just to pull out sometimes when having a movie night.
The first thing about a vintage sofa that charms us is its timeless appeal. While some (and I'm sorry to say this) are plain ugly, there are others that look quite glamorous in a modest home or even a professionally designed one. So, before you buy one, take a look at some of the pretty vintage sofas that are available out there.
The name reveals it all, doesn't it? The love seat is essentially a two-seater sofa, just wide enough for two people to perch comfortably. Don't go by its cheesy name, though, as this is a perfect piece for smaller areas, or a classy addition to large spaces.
